David Mould

David Mould is an Associate Solicitor in the Casualty Team at Markel Law. Having qualified in 2018, he joined the firm in September 2025.

David has over ten years' experience of dealing with defendant personal injury civil litigation. He has acted for a range of different clients, including large international insurers, the Ministry of Defence, local authorities and Lloyds of London Syndicates. 

As well as being responsible for his own caseload of both fast-track and multi-track claims, he has assisted on complex multi-track matters valued over a million pounds, as well as a multi-defendant claim which was subject to a Group Litigation Order. David also has experience of assisting more junior colleagues with advice and guidance when required. 

David has gained experience of working in house for two international insurers, which has given him an extensive insight into the daily challenges faced by insurers. David has developed the ability to consider both the commercial and legal considerations for the client, in order to decide the correct approach to advance the claim and when providing advice and options to the client.
