Case study

General liability insuring clause

The insured is a limited company that provides Health and Safety advice and services to manufacturing clients. An employee of the insured’s client injured himself in an area of the manufacturing site which was under the control of the insured whilst acting as CDM contractor.

We instructed one of our specialist injury loss adjusters, who successfully defended the insured. There were no damages payments made, resulting in a small outlay of only the loss adjuster's fixed fee.
