Charlotte Rowe’s experience across social care spans statutory, private and voluntary organisations across adults and children services. With over 15 years management experience she also is a registered and qualified social worker. Her early career was in corporate operations and strategic management being a company director at 21, prior to transitioning to the health and social care sector. Charlotte has experience and knowledge of  working in adult mental health, recovery and addiction undertaking an FDA in drug and alcohol misuse which was the first degree of its kind. Charlotte also has experience in youth offending, criminal justice, MAPPA and housing working with complex and high risk behaviours. Also achieving qualifications in mental health, learning disabilities and counselling. She later transitioned into the statutory children’s social work working with children in care, care leavers, adoption, care proceedings, initial assessment and safeguarding where she also held the role of practice manager and team leader.

Charlotte managed a county court team and has over 7 years’ experience within complex care proceeding. Charlotte is also a Practice Educator and has worked to support improvement journeys, improving practice, safeguarding and ensuring positive outcome for service users. Charlotte remains an advocate for evidence based and good practice standards, as well as supporting professional development of others.

Charlotte moved to Markel, as part of the Janjer Ltd team in 2019. Where she is able to use her management and practice experience to support clients and associates. Charlotte sits as Care Practice Manager supporting the expertise of our associates, and the Head of Consulting to ensure that practice standards are maintained and works specifically in complex cases, business development strategies, complex safeguarding, complaints and allegations, providing regulatory advice, risk management and bespoke training. Charlotte has recently undertaken a specific project working with a multinational charity to create and improved their safeguarding policies, delivering their training in line with both the charity commission, national and international standards.
