Our flagship event in the UK is the annual Markel Summer Party. It’s the perfect chance to meet new people from across the organisation and celebrate the year together.
At Markel, our people are what makes us special, and each year we come together at our summer party to celebrate our success. In 2024, our ‘The Greatest Showman’-themed extravaganza saw thousands of Markel’s finest from across the globe enjoy music, circus acts, fairground rides, and lots of laughter, as they raised a glass to our achievements. And the fun didn’t stop there: it continues to be an exciting time for Markel as we look to the future, with plans to invest in new products, new geographies, more people, and more technology. Who said financial services has to be boring?
