Samantha is an experienced insurance lawyer who joined Markel Law in 2022 to form and grow the Casualty Team. Samantha started as a Solicitor, promoted to Associate in January 2023 and to Senior Associate in September 2024.
Samantha began her career in defendant insurance firms, working for various insurers.
In 2017, Samantha qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive, cross qualifying as a Solicitor in July 2019. Samantha has handled various employers’ and public liability claims, successfully defending claims pleaded in excess of £250,000 and assisting on multimillion pound claims.
Samantha specialises in defending claims against policyholders in the care and construction sectors as well as building on her equine experience.
Samantha is considered approachable and regularly receives direct calls from clients seeking assistance and/or advice.
