Markel UK had double success at this year’s Insurance Times Awards, taking home not one but two awards: Excellence in Risk Management and Specialist Insurer of the Year. These wins highlight our innovative and customer-focused approach, reinforcing Markel’s people-powered ethos.

Taking home the Excellence in Risk Management award reflects our commitment to supporting businesses beyond traditional insurance. Winning the Specialist Insurer of the Year award underscores our sector-specific expertise, particularly the care sector. With over 30 years of experience in care, we offer tailored insurance solutions for children’s and adult care services, covering the unique risks the care sector faces such as abuse and medical malpractice.
