Markel Law appoints head of legal practice to support business growth

Markel Law's new head of legal practice, Charlotte Rees-John, to lead firm’s operations.


Markel Law, an independent SRA-authorised and regulated legal services business, has appointed Charlotte Rees-John as head of legal practice (managing partner) with immediate effect.

Charlotte will step into a newly formed role as the firm’s first head of legal practice. She will assume responsibility for the operational management of the firm, working closely with claims and legal services director, Richard Napoli, and the firm’s existing partners.

Markel Law has established itself as a leading legal practice in the insurance sector, providing high-quality, efficient and client-focused legal services. The firm has recently been recognised in The Legal 500 across multiple legal services and listed as ‘one to watch’ in health, one of Markel’s key insurance sectors.

The appointment of a dedicated head of legal practice demonstrates Markel’s continued commitment to the Markel Law business and its ambitious profitable growth aspirations within insurance and other sectors.
