Nicola Cunliffe joins Markel to enhance broker trading in the UK

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Nicola Cunliffe as head of trading in the UK. In this key role for the business, Cunliffe will be responsible for brokers’ experience when trading with Markel across the UK, capitalising on already existing strong foundations and broker relationships.
Cunliffe brings extensive experience in insurance trading and operations, having previously held several leadership positions; as head of insurance operations at Flock and head of SME trading operations at AXA. Her expertise in operational excellence and broker engagement will play a pivotal role in supporting Markel’s continued profitable growth in the UK, while driving forward broker trading operations.
Cunliffe said: "I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Markel at such an exciting time. Markel has a strong reputation for its broker relationships and service-led approach, and I look forward to building on that by ensuring UK brokers can trade with us in the way that suits them best.
