Insurance Times broker survey names Markel as the UK’s No.1 commercial lines insurer for service 2023/2024

Last year we launched our new people-first brand. A commitment to exceptional service is not a concept or buzzword, it’s a value that is powered by people.
It is that very same people-powered ethos that has meant our exceptional service has been recognised throughout the last year.
That recognition has continued into 2024.
As you may already be aware, each year Insurance Times conducts its annual Broker Service Survey (BSS) investigating broker opinions, attitudes and satisfaction levels toward the services they receive from their insurance partners. The survey is based across five different service areas:
- quality of cover
- claims experience
- policy documentation
- underwriting expertise
- relationship management
Not only have we achieved a five-star rating in the ‘Insurance Times Five-Star Rating Report Commercial Lines 2023/24’, but we have moved to the coveted number one spot.
