Jessica Davis

'Jessica Davies is a qualified Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor; She also holds a degree in Management and a Level 5 International Leadership and Management qualification. Jessica has worked across a combined 6 Local Authorities and NHS Health Boards in Wales. She specialises in dementia, acquired brain injuries, continuing health care, learning disabilities and older adults. Jessica’s experience is varied having worked in a diverse range of environments: hospitals, community, day centres and care homes. As a result of this experience Jessica is competent in working in changing and complex situations.  

Jessica has worked as a permanent employee, agency social worker and is an established Independent Social Worker. As an independent Social Worker Jessica has managed specialist community and care home projects within older adult mental health and learning disabilities departments. Working in partnership with Local Authority and Health Board commissioning departments and, with community care and care home organisations. Jessica completed individual care plan reviews and also carried out service reviews and care home inspections. 

Jessica has experience with making recommendations to care homes supporting with management of risk, improving record keeping, improving policies and procedures to meet quality assurance and compliance requirements from a Social Work practice and commissioning perspective. Jessica continues to work independently completing best interest assessments, initial assessments and, care/nursing home reviews for various Local Authorities.'
