Frances is a compliance expert, and health and social care Executive. She is a graduate of Law & Psychology, a post graduate qualified social worker, a qualified teacher of adults with a PGCE. She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and the NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety. Frances is currently completing an MSc in Health and Safety.
Frances has experience of field and hospital social work in paediatric hepatology, child protection, and in residential care services to children, young people and adults for over 25 years. Frances has delivered training to diverse groups in various settings for over 30 years.
Frances has a diverse professional background, robust leadership and management skills, and business acumen. As a result she was propelled from being a local authority social worker, Principal Officer, Quality and Performance Review lead, Complaints Officer and Commissioner, to an all round experienced Inspector with the legacy Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to a national turnaround specialist, expert witness, and bank, insurance company and insolvency industry. Frances has worked with providers, and to support and coach managers, as well as also working across both children and adults services, complaints, coroners, management mentoring, and with commissioners in quality and assurance framework roles and investigations as an expert and consultant.
