Beverley Bates

Beverley is the Advice Services Director. She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and joined Markel in 2007. She specialised in employment law before heading up the employment team and in 2014 she became responsible for all of Markel’s advice line services and oversees the delivery and quality of circa 200,000 calls per year made across our commercial, employment, health & safety, tax and VAT advice lines. She is heavily involved in the strategy for the advice services and can regularly be seen at client events to talk about our services.
