We are honoured to once again be the headline sponsor of the Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards 2024 for another year of extraordinary achievements and great causes. The awards will be returning to Birmingham on the Friday 15th March, with third sector organisations from all over the country attending. The awards aim to shine a light on the efforts of small, not-for-profit providers who may not always get the opportunity to highlight the positive impact they make on people's lives.
One of last year’s winners, The Prospects Trust, explained the impact of winning an award on their organisation and people. “To win the award meant a lot for us as we’re now able to advertise that we are a national award-winning care farm.” Farm manager, Mark Cornell said. “I couldn’t tell you who nominated us, but I can’t thank them enough – the whole experience has been amazing for us.” The Trust serves as a meaningful work, skills, and training provider for individuals with additional needs, learning disabilities, or autism.
In 2023, a year marked by significant financial and regulatory challenges in the care industry, we were truly astounded by the unwavering commitment demonstrated by all nominees, even amidst such uncertain times. This level of dedication forms the bedrock of these awards. Whether it's investing in staff, diversifying funding, fortifying boards, or forging new partnerships, the nominated organisations have made substantial contributions.

The judging panel for the 2024 awards season is anticipated to be comprised of distinguished figures within the industry, who will meticulously evaluate the nominees based on their instrumental role in providing innovative, people-first solutions in the face of industry challenges.
