The relationship between Janjer and Markel dates back to 2008 when Markel launched its risk management service in conjunction with Janjer’s health and social care expertise. In 2016, Markel acquired Janjer and they officially became part of the Markel family, immediately benefitting from being part of an A* rated financially secure company.
Our professional advice and consultancy services will remain business as usual for all our clients following the name change to Markel Care Practitioners. Day-to-day interactions won’t change and you’ll continue to receive the same bespoke support and flexible expertise you’ve come to expect from us.

The name change to Markel Care Practitioners sits within a wider strategy to bring Markel’s UK brands closer together and does not affect the legal status of your arrangement with us, nor your rights and obligations in all existing legal relationships.
