Natalie Miles

Natalie joined Markel Tax in 2015 after 12 years of service with HMRC working as a visiting officer where she undertook compliance visits on businesses of all sizes across a range of sectors. In that time Natalie was also involved in repayment return verification visits, cross tax enquiries with PAYE/IT/CT colleagues and more recently worked as part of HMRC’s taskforce campaigns to include takeaways and restaurants which would include unannounced visits. Natalie has a broad knowledge based on VAT-related topics including land and property transactions, construction industry, international services and place of supply rules, education, and health and welfare sectors. At Markel Tax, Natalie provides helpline advice and supports the wider team on consulting and claims work.
