Trudy Moore has worked in residential care for 15 years working with both children and young people with learning difficulties such as; autism and children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties including those who have suffered significant trauma resulting in attachment difficulties. Trudy is qualified in level One DDP (Development Dyadic Psychotherapy) and has had extensive training in Trauma Informed Care, Psychodynamic Theory and attachment. Trudy has also achieved her Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
Trudy has been registered with Ofsted for the past 5 years as a Registered Manager for several homes supporting with crisis management and improvement journeys. She has achieved and maintained an Ofsted good rating throughout her time as Registered Manager. Trudy has taken over services and brought homes from suspended registration by OFSTED to Good. Throughout her career Trudy has worked with organizations to develop policies and systems within the company to complement OFSTED requirements and legislation. Trudy has developed and delivered multiple training sessions to improve staff knowledge and understanding of the quality standards, PACE model, Report writing and self-harm amongst others.
