Tania Haimbe

Tania Haimbe has worked in statutory children’s services since she qualified in 1999 with over 20 years’ experience in working within child services, with multidisciplinary teams, providers, safeguarding, complex needs and children in care. Tania’s experience has been an a independent contractor including as an Independent Reviewing Officer and Child Protection Chair, providing her knowledge of complex safeguarding processes, support for providers and in meeting children’s needs in a range of setting.  She is adept at both supporting the service and offering constructive challenge as these roles often require, and is skilled at risk and conflict management.

Tania specialises in Performance and Service Improvement teams, including experience and in-depth knowledge of quality assurance, statutory and regulatory requirements, practice standards, thresholds, performance management at the organizational level, producing policies and procedures and inspection preparation. She has experience in improving, reviewing and developing performance data systems and linking this to practice and/or processes at the frontend, and participating in performance clinics aimed at improving performance across the suite of performance indicators in order to improve outcomes for children and young people, whilst supporting providers.
