Mark is a Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI) and qualified Health and Social care professional with over 25 years of experience in the provision of Children’s residential care, domiciliary care services and in the provision of LD care homes in both England and Wales. Mark has been a Registered Manager and Responsible Individual for a variety of services regulated by Ofsted, CQC and CIW.

Mark has a real interest in leadership and management; as an organisational consultant he has supported businesses to achieve ISO accreditation and Investors in People (IIP) Awards, to improve Health & Safety compliance, to successfully support organisational strategy development, structural improvements and to implement a variety of successful change management solutions.

Mark is a strong advocate for research-informed therapeutic care provision for the most complex of service users and is an Advanced Positive Behaviour Support instructor and behavioural advisor. Mark supports organisations to respond positively to behaviours of concern and equips support staff with the skills and knowledge they need to keep themselves and those in their care safe.

Outside of Social Care, Mark is a Trustee for a number of established Charities, where he has brought his skills and experience to bear, specialising in complex, high hazard and safety critical activities. Mark has relished the opportunity to develop robust governance within organisations and to support not-for-profit organisations to achieve sustainable financial futures.
