Chris has over 30 year's experience in children and families social care, working in a variety of settings as inclusive of probation, children’s services, court and social care services. Since 1998, he has managed a variety of services in both the statutory and voluntary sector. For five years he was Director of Children's Services for a national advocacy charity and more recently was a Registered Manager of an independent fostering agency.
For eight years, he was also a Trustee of a Birmingham based theatre company and is able to share his experience in developing trustees, training and support for non-profit organisations in terms of safeguarding, governance and oversight. Chris also has qualification in First Line Management, Leadership and Management, and is a qualified social worker. Chris has a good knowledge of the regulatory landscape, he is able to support provider in respect of Regulation 44 visits, fostering panels, audits, service improvement journeys, regulatory visiting, auditing and governance strategies.
