Caitlin is a Paralegal within the Casualty Team, having joined Markel Law in April 2023.
Caitlin graduated with an undergraduate law degree from Newcastle University in 2021, before commencing her legal career in April 2022 with a specialist housing sector law firm, and has experience of acting for clients in respect of housing disrepair and Defective Premises Act 1972 claims.
Caitlin currently assists senior lawyers within the team on fast and multi-track, employer’s and public liability matters, by liaising with clients, instructing counsel, conducting legal research, and reviewing documents. Caitlin also handles, under supervision, pre-action applications for disclosure and along with Infant Approval and MOJ Stage 3 claims.
