Markel wins Insurance Post’s Customer Care Award

We’re thrilled to announce that Markel won the Customer Care Award at the Insurance Post Claims Awards last night – the second award for our claims team in two months.

Over 400 industry professionals came together to reward outstanding customer service across UK claims. The Customer Care Award recognises an excellent level of customer care for claimants and, in particular, the impact of an innovative customer care strategy either on retention levels or client satisfaction. We’re therefore extremely proud that Markel’s Prompt Resolution Team (PRT) – whose objective is fast settlement, with minimal hassle to the policyholder - was the solution that saw us collect this prestigious award.

With AIG UK, Co-op Insurance, Aviva Property Claims, and Zurich Private Clients also vying for the title, we’re delighted to have been announced as the winner.

This news comes shortly after Markel was announced as the winner of the Claims Service Solution of the Year at the Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards last month.

This win is thanks to our, now multi-award winning, claims team, who are relentless in prioritising great service and delivering the best for our clients.
